In astrology there are 4 types of elements with three signs in each of them. These elements are Fire, which represents the fun in life, Earth which represents the stability in life, Air which represents the communication within life, and Water which represents emotions. These four elements play a role in everyday life and I will elaborate on these roles.
The Fire Signs(Aries, Leo, Sagittarius)
The role of the Fire signs shows us how exactly to be independent and go straight forward with anything that we desire with no worries. With the Fire Signs they are all about survival, creation, and experience. They represent all the excitement that life has to offer. Without them, life would be boring. Aries being independent and impulsiveness, represents a creation of new ideas and excitement, although it may be dangerous the adrenaline really is worth the thrill for this sign Leo with being confident and doing what they please, this sign is all about performance and being independent on the stage. They are known for the creation of entertainment and experience the fun of doing anything from the heart. Sagittarius for the freedom and opportunities to learn and explore anything they wish to know. They are known for being able to survive and adapt to any new and foreign areas that they have decided to travel to. They are the creation of taking the first step towards experiencing something new.
The Earth Signs(Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn)
The role of the Earth signs shows us what hard work and determination can do for not only one’s self but for everyone else as well. They are all about stability, physicality, and the 5 senses. They represent the mundane and responsible part of life. Without them we would not have a secure and rigid structure. Taurus sticking with what they know is right and working until the job is done. They represent working hard in exchange for money and being able to grow plants in order to eat well, in terms of the 5 senses they use them mainly for gardening and cooking. Virgo is critical and analyzing what needs to be fixed and fixes it. They are the ones that make sure everything is organized so that structure is in place to find it later. They also make sure everything is clean so that everything can stay as pure a possible, this is when their 5 senses come out. Capricorn is all about business and making sure income is happening. They make sure that their ambition is achieved through hard work and recognition, their 5 senses come out when it comes to their materialistic quality.
The Air Signs(Gemini, Libra, Aquarius)
The role of the Air signs shows us how communicating and having different ideas can change society. With the air signs, they are all about thinking, communication, and mind. They represent the social and communicative part of life. Without them we would not have friendships, relationships, or even new inventions. Gemini starts and makes communication happening and transfers this communication between people. They are also the ones to question everything and find an answer for all of their questions, without Gemini we would not have a basic foundation for language or even learn as a whole. Libra making sure the peace is kept and playing the middleman, without Libra there would not be peaceful resolutions when it comes to disputes. Aquarius comes up with futuristic ideas and helps transform old ideology, they are the ones to question the system and rebel against it. Constantly changing everything for the improvement of society.
The Water Signs (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces)
The role of the Water signs shows us how emotions and feelings are necessary. With the Water signs, they are all about Feelings, emotions, and nurturing. They represent the empathetic and sensitive part of life. Without them we would not have imagination, empathy, or even reflection Cancer helping us nurture our feelings via the family. They represent bonds with our family via emotional intimacy, being able to freely express our emotions with sensitivity. Scorpio allows us to transform ourselves in terms of our emotions. They allow for trust and secrecy to exist between relationships which is what makes relationships the most useful, the intimacy to trust a person. Pisces showing us how we can create boundaries within our relationships and making sure that the people we surround ourselves will be able to relate and be empathetic.
